2007 Branson States' Parties

On Friday evening, July 27th, we gathered in the Bradford Inn's "Country Store" to celebrate the rebirth of our States' Parties!

Enjoy some of the many photos taken of the set up, enjoying, and clean-up of our first States' Parties.

Dock sets up the winning State Party while Barry Kennedy watches. (Of course we had competition and A-Wards!)

Janie Williams sets up the Kentucky Party, featuring lots of great pins and Mint Julips!

Jim & Corky Hyatt served Kansas pulled pork and wheat beer, using some leftover Kansas fabric as their table cloth. (Did we really all wear that stuff?)

Glenn & Gloria Harger served Alabama shrimp! Their booth tied with Maine for the best food, but the tie breaker went to Maine -- Joy & Merrill Pottle's Lobster Rolls.

A happy Dave Williams served Mint Julips
to the crowd!

Debbie Hanks served Tex-Mex goodies & Marguaritas.. Texas won the "Overall A-Ward" for their excellent fare!

Greg & Joy Strouse serve Maryland Crab goodies including crab chips!

Charlie Perrone's Orange Juice, which he served with or without spiking, won the A-Ward for best beverage!

Sue & David Bennion's Idaho State Party
with Idaho Tater Tots!

Barry Kennedy & Paul Childers serving
pop corn and beef jerky from Nebraska.
Paul served as President of Nebraska two
years before Barry & ran Barry's campaign
for National President.

Kaye & Cecil Watkins' South Carolina State Party
won the A-Ward for best presentation!
The fuzzy navels were fine, too!

Barbara & Gary Rupprecht made fine Cherry Chocolate Cake which was a favorite with everyone!

Bill & Eileen Porter's Colorado State Party featured Colorado Koolaid, Coors Beer,
plus a few great photos from "back in the day!"
Bill was President of Colorado a year after "our" year.

Eileen Porter won one of Steve Hewlett's samples!

Jim Verhoef helps the "clean up" crew!

Joy & Merrill Pottle's Maine State Party won the Best Food with their wonderful Lobster Rolls!
Who wouldn't vote for Maine Lobster!
